Hi Future Partners, I'm Kiki Horne! I'm a D1 volleyball player at UCF, and honestly? My journey here hasn't been the typical path—but that's exactly what makes my story worth sharing. I transferred from UCLA for my last two years of eligibility, and let me tell you, that decision wasn't easy. I could've stayed in LA with the perfect weather, kept my scholarship, and played it safe. But when you go from playing every game to sitting on the bench, you start questioning everything—your abilities, your love for the game, even if you still belong. I had a choice: stay comfortable or bet on myself. So I packed up, left sunny California, and moved to Orlando to chase this dream one more time. That leap of faith? It's my proudest moment. And it's exactly why I create content—to remind the younger generation that they can do hard things, and to show everyone grinding right now that they're not alone in the uncertainty. I share behind-the-scenes reality of being a student-athlete—the highs, the lows, the motivational moments, and everything in between. As a Communications major with a minor in Film & Media, I love bringing my community along for the ride. When I'm not in the gym or hitting the books, you'll catch me exploring Orlando's best Italian food spots, finding clothes that actually fit us tall girls, or just living that everyday UCF student life. I'm a small-town girl from Pittsburgh, PA with big dreams, and I'm grateful for the platform God has given me to encourage others.
