I have been running since 2017 and have not looked back. I ran competitively in high school but was more of an "energy guy" than fast. When I decided to run collegiately, my options were limited, so I went the junior college route and ran at Clackamas Community College from 2020-2022. I was privileged to be the men's distance team captain throughout high school and my time at Clackamas. I worked hard to improve myself in and out of my sport and earned a spot on the Western Oregon University men's distance roster. I am a business and marketing major with intentions to open a coffee shop after earning money through a marketing career. Currently, I am working as a Social Media Marketing Intern at my school's Center for Professional Pathways. In my spare time, I enjoy making craft coffee and even have another Instagram dedicated to that passion (@dripcitycoffeeor). Another of my "side projects" is a track club I started with my best friends and teammates called Los Lobos Track Club. We started this in 2018 because my friends were getting recruited by colleges, and I wasn't, so we wanted to create a club that would keep us together as teammates. Funnily enough, the roles reversed, and they chose not to pursue running collegiately but through the club instead. The Los Lobos Instagram page is @lobostrackclub, and our website can be found at www.lobostrackclub.com. My goal is to inspire athletes who may not be "the top dog" on their team to chase their dreams, regardless of their current situation.
